Please choose your artwork carefully as I do not accept returns or refunds of original artworks, prints of original artworks or commissioned works; as these are all a final sale.
Exception Damaged Artwork
If you notice any serious damage to the outside of the packaged Original artwork please do not sign for the delivery and contact me immediately.
If you notice damage upon unpacking your Original artwork immediately contact me within 48 hours of receiving the artwork with digital images of the damage. If it is found that the Original artwork was damaged in transit I will endeavor to replace or offer and exchange of equal or lesser value for the artwork. In the event that I am unable to replace the Original artwork I will arrange an exchange with you upon receiving the returned damaged artwork in it’s original packaging. Buyers are responsible for all shipping costs and any international fees or import taxes when applicable.
An Original artwork is an acrylic painting on canvas, tile, ect. a watercolor painting, a paper cut artwork or a digital artwork.
There are no returns or refunds for the following:
- Original artworks
- Prints of original artworks
- Commissioned works
- Commissioned People or pet portraits
- Custom or personalized orders
- Clearance items in the Make a Difference Shop
There are refunds and exchanges for the following:
- Art classes
- Regular priced items in the Make a Difference Shop
Art Class Refunds
A full refund will be given to a student who cancels their registration as late as 4 days before class begins, after which no refund will be issued.
Make a Difference Shop
I will gladly accept returns and exchanges on regular priced items purchased at the Make a Difference Shop. In order to resolve cases, I must be contacted within a reasonable amount of time from the product shipping date, to notify my manufacturer. Contact me within 10 days of delivery for U.S. and Canadian orders or within 15 days for international orders, otherwise I may not be able to help resolve the issue. Ship items back to me within 30 days of delivery. Buyers are responsible for all shipping costs, including international custom and import taxes. If the item is not returned in its original condition (unworn, unwashed), the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
If there is an error with your order or if there are any changes you wish to make after your order has been placed, I require that you contact me within 8hrs of the order being placed or by the following business day if the order was placed over the weekend. There is a short time frame between the manufacturer receiving the order and when production begins. Contact me immediately you need it edit your order. I cannot promise anything but I will contact the manufacturer to see if the have not started production. However; once production begins the manufacturer cannot make any changes to the order and no refund will be issued. When contacting me with an issue, please be sure to include photos for reference. All returns are handled on a case by case basis.
When are Make a Difference Shop orders not refundable?
Orders are NOT refundable for the following:
- After 30 days of item purchased.
- Incorrect size, however, you may return the incorrect sized garment and exchange it for the correct size; so long as the garment is in it’s original condition, not been worn, unwashed and it’s returned in the original packaging.
- A package was lost (in this case, my manufacturer will usually reprint and reship the order).
- An item was damaged in transit. Send me photos of the damaged package, so I can notify my manufacturer to resolve the issue.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs, import taxes and any custom fees (if applicable) for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. If you live within the Metro-Detroit area I am willing to meet up with you at a public location; so you can avoid shipping costs.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.
