I am blessed to be in possession of Donna’s painting titled, “Emmanuel in my boat.” This painting grew from a sermon on the miracle that Jesus not only calmed the storms but even more miraculously stepped into the boat with mankind, fully man wholly Devine. Donna presented this painting to me which now hangs in my study. A constant reminder that when the word is preached lives are touched. It is most humbling, this painting of Donna’s took my words of Jesus’ gift to mankind and completely captured them within these brush strokes. .
